Her Happiness Is Everything

Question, are you happy in life right now?

Girlllll, don't give me that look! I saw you through the computer.

What if I told you that happiness was a choice? You have two choices you can make daily, you can choose to be happy or unhappy.

Yesss!!! It's just that simple.

I remember there used to be a time when I was unhappy in my life. I was always trying to find happiness in people and worldly things. This was an area of my life I was struggling badly in.

I felt like in order for me to be happy I needed to be living it up and doing the more fancy things in life. Like traveling, shopping, and spending money. You know what I'm talking about.......

The world paints this false picture of what happiness looks like.

The world tells you that you need to make a certain amount of money. The world tells you that you need to drive a certain type of car. The world tells you that you need to be married with kids, living in the white house with the picket fence. Let's not forget you need to have the perfect body and you need to be able to take fancy vacations.

It's easy to lose your happiness living this false reality.

All this sounds and looks great but what if that's not your life? We quickly start becoming unhappy and let's not forget UNAPPRECIATIVE of our lives.

Trust, there's somebody that's admiring your life right now. What looks minor to you, looks adorable in someone else eyes.

Be grateful for everything in your life and find happiness in the small things.

Now remember earlier, I said happiness was a choice.

When you wake up tomorrow you have a big decision to make.

Years ago, I told myself I was tired of being unhappy and that I was going to choose happiness. Now the happiness didn't magically appear. But I needed help from God.

I simply ask God to give me contentment and happiness in my life. The truth of the matter is things will never make us happy. But true happiness, contentment, and peace come from God.
