God has been really dealing with me in this season. This season has been different from other seasons in my life.
God has been gracefully breaking me.
Huh? What is she talking about?
Let me give you a little example:
Have your car battery ever STOP working?
Girl, don't play!
We have all gotten into the car and it wouldn't crank. And in some cases you can hear the car trying to fire up but it's not enough firepower to connect with the battery.
It's not until you pop the hood and realize there's a lot of GUNK build-up around the battery connection.
Now, in some cases, you can pour a Coca-Cola around the battery where the gunk has BUILT UP. Huh??? A Coca-Cola....... Yasss girl yassss a coke. Thank me later!! The acid from the drink helps REMOVE the gunk.
Now, this does not fix the problem. But it can prevent the problem in some future cases.
In order for God to connect with you, he needs to remove the gunk that's BLOCKING the connection. Life brings gunk into our lives. And sometimes WE bring gunk INTO our lives and ALLOW it to build up.
When gunk continues to build up over a period of time we lose connection with God and ourselves.
Question, do you have gunk in your life? Well, let me be the first to say, I DO!
In order for God to connect with us, he has to remove all the gunk that we have allowed to build up. This is where change and healing begin. If you are open to it!
What does gunk look like?
It looks like pain, sickness, low self-esteem, insecurities, unfaithfulness, lying, stealing, cycles, resentment, cheating, unforgiveness, generational curses, jealousy, anger, addiction, childhood trauma, divorce, and bad relationships etc......
Whew chileeee that gunk looks nasty and it smells.
Only God can remove this gunk out of your life. All of us have one or more things that I have listed above. It's okay, nothing to be embarrassed about.
I come to give you good news though.
God loves to clean GUNK!! His grace is sufficient. It doesn't matter how many things you have on your list God is the CONNECTOR that cleans.
God has been removing gunk out of me from the last month. This process has not been easy but it has been necessary. This is how God gracefully breaks you.
Now, let me be clear. When God breaks you it's not to hurt you but restore you in love.
Are you ready to remove the gunk? Does your gunk smell?
Last but not least be open to crying. Healing takes place when you cry. Crying doesn't make you weak.
Let God gracefully break you!!!!
There's a better you inside of you, that's waiting to be birth.
